The lesser-invasive and lesser-access approaches in vascular and coronary surgery force the surgical trainees in the situation that most of their educators are still struggling to deliver perfect anastomoses in these environments. Simulation training under very strict rules with qualitative and OSATS-quantitative assessments at each step has already guided thousands of young surgeons. Lezt us try to further upscale this approach.
